If I'm not mistaken, Sam (Fina) used Chankast to run the game. It's still very buggy though. |

1. I don't think the forum allows the asking of roms.
2. aikasan (the programmer behind the SOA echelon patch) has decided to take a look and try to fix the sound bugs in the game. Not sure if it's possible, but near-perfect SOA emulation is still a possibility in the future. |

Ok, Im just curious how the emulator chankast works. So do you play a computer file version of the game (rom) with chankast? or does chankast allow you to play the game on your pc by actually putting the dreamcast disk in your computer drive and playing it? |

I use nullDC and it runs smooth and great, though there are some glitches in transparent image animation, other than that it works wonderfully, though in some scenes it can be slow, but not often. Only thing nullDC doesn't support USB joypad input so you have to use something like Xpadder to map the joypad keys to the keyboard keys in turn tricking the emulator.
But it's the best emulator so far. |
